It starts with our online assessment. Answer some questions about your home and provide a few photos to get an upfront pricing estimate. If you decide to move forward, your installation will be completed by a local electrician who is licensed, insured and background-checked.
The following is included with your home EV charger installation:
- Level 2 charging unit
- Code-compliant electrical wiring and protective tubing installation
- 1-Year warranty on parts and labor
- Permit and inspection
- Main electrical panel load calculation
- New, properly sized breaker in panel installation
- Ensure charging unit is fully operational
The following is not included:
- Drywall, stucco, plaster, concrete or any other repairs to walls, ceilings or floors if penetration is required for wiring runs
- Any trenching required if your garage is detached
Your installer will conduct a professional evaluation including a load calculation to determine the capacity available for EV charging. If your panel lacks sufficient capacity, your installer can provide a price estimate for an electrical upgrade.
If you're renting and would like to have an EV charging station installed on the property, you will need the express permission of the property owner first. Our installers will confirm with the owner of the property before installation.
If you already own an EV charger unit that you would like installed, our installers can do so.
